European Credit Transfer System
ECTS (European Credit Transfer System) is a system for study abroad as a means of improving the academic cooperation bringing benefits to students and higher education institutes in European Community. Students envisaging a study abroad will be looking for study programmes, which are relevant to their final degree and full academic recognition which ensures that they will not lose time in co degree by studying abroad. ECTS helps higher education institutions to enhance their cooperation with other by improving access to information on foreign curricula and providing common procedures for academic recognition.
